This role will be located at our Mount Vernon, Ohio facility
Role Overview:
The Quality Technician's function is to perform various dimensional and visual inspections, create inspection documents, collect and document inspection data, work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to report and resolve issues, and maintain document control in accordance with Beehive Industries internal quality system requirements.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final visual and dimensional inspections on PMMA, Ceramic, Wax, Quick Cast, and SLA/FDM/DLP product per the schedule provided by the Production Planner.- Create inspection documents needed to perform In-Process and Final Dimensional Inspections.
- Scan and upload all completed inspection documents to the digital Quality document system.
- Communicate / work with appropriate engineer and salesperson to resolve identified quality issues on in-process and final product.
- Review new job traveler inspection requirements prior to all job “kick-off” meetings.
- Attend all new job “kick-off” meetings and provide feedback to the team on any quality issues/concerns.
- Create C of C documentation for customer shipments when required. Maintain a copy of all documentation in the C of C digital database.
- Maintain key measuring and quality test equipment including, but not limited to calipers, mics, etc. Order supplies and replacement parts necessary to maintain equipment.
- Assure quality inspection station(s) are cleaned and organized daily after completing inspections.
Required Qualifications:
- H.S. diploma
- . 1 to 3 years of previous quality experience in visual and dimensional inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point
- Experience working with various measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
