Key responsibilities include building winning strategies, meeting revenue targets, P&L management, and nurturing retailer relationships. This position will manage a team of two Account Managers, and a Field Sales organization. This position reports to the SVP, Sales.

The base salary for this role is $150,000 - $200,000, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
Sell In
- Build and manage sell in budget to ensure forecast accuracy, maximizing sales, increase net shipments, and ensure inventory targets are being met
- Develop innovative sales strategy to align with overall marketing strategy and sales objectives; activities include media, secondary placement, and select promotional activity
- Proactively communicate retail and gross shipment performance, regularly providing high level business commentary
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional partners, including Demand Planning, Marketing, Finance, Digital, Creative, and Operations teams
- Assess and recommend ongoing distribution and merchandising strategies that support profit and productivity expectations
- Build and manage retail sales budget with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews
- Implement a strategic selling plan to maximize growth through elevating core business, event execution, and education programs
- Lead and manage a team to achieve business sell-thru goals and foster a culture of accountability and ownership with their teams
- Effectively build and manage budgets including Education, Sampling, and Freelance to ensure positive ROI
- Develop Education programs to identify training solutions including review and customization of training presentations and materials to field teams.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- 5 years of executive (Director ) sales experience. 8 years as an Account Manager with Ulta.
- Bachelor's degree in business or similar, preferred but not required.
- Experience with managing and being accountable for the end-to-end sales process from sell-in to sell-thru, including financial forecasting, demand planning, and operations management.
- A strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize, while strategizing and responding in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- A passionate, goal-driven leader with strong management skills and an analytical mind-set.
- Passion for beauty and knowledge of the competitive marketplace.
- Strong oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and utilize sound judgment.
- Expertise required in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP, and Project Management tools.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the position as needed.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed to support business needs
