Regional VP
REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent verbal and written communications and problem solving skills
• Experience editing or writing consumer-facing copy for online product detail pages, web banners, landing pages, packaging, sales literature, direct mail, trade and consumer advertising, and/or point of purchase for high tech or consumer goods companies
• Etrong editing/proofreading skills, with experience proofreading copy for grammar, context and typographical accuracy
• Ability to compare similar resources and project files with an eye to catching inconsistencies and errors
• Ability to synthesize messaging from a wide variety of sources into cohesive, consistent communications
• Ability to undertake immersive product education rapidly and self-reliantly, and apply new knowledge appropriately
• Ability to work autonomously, under tight deadline pressures, multitask and prioritize a rapidly changing workload
• Willingness to contribute within a team environment, partnering with other writers, graphic artists and account executives to complete large, highly detailed projects
• Experience working in an advertising, graphics or marketing environment and knowledge of basic creative development process a plus
• Must enjoy a fast pace and be a self-starter, organized, thorough, flexible and extremely detail oriented
• 1–3 years of editing or writing experience
• BA in English or Communications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Synthesizing messaging into a variety of shopper communications, and fine-tuning work in progress repeatedly
• Creating detailed copy decks for multiple products and retail accounts, tracking revisions and updates
• Proofreading copy drafts, presentations, graphic layouts and online content feeds in order to catch and correct spelling, grammar, usage, formatting and consistency errors, as well as errors of content and style
• Cooperation with account and creative teams to conceive and implement original work and update existing projects
• Review and assessment of new products and technologies for appropriate positioning, technical specifications and key selling points salient to consumers
• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of internal systems to manage the writing process and improve proofreading effectiveness
