Key Responsibilities
As a Closer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth and successful real estate transactions. Your day-to-day will include:
- Facilitating Closings: Prepare and coordinate real estate closings while communicating effectively with clients, agents, buyers, and sellers.
- Document Preparation: Gather necessary invoices and documentation, including Closing Disclosures (CDs) and HUDs.
- Closing Packages: Create, review, and distribute accurate closing packages to all relevant parties, including notaries.
- Settlement & Disbursement: Review settlement statements, signed documents, and lien payoff instructions to disburse funds accurately.
- Client Communication: Act as the liaison between clients, listing agents, asset managers, and mortgage brokers to ensure timely disbursements.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve—or escalate—any issues to guarantee a positive experience for all parties.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate closely with Nimble’s operations staff and account managers to uphold our streamlined process.
General Requirements:

- Experience: Prior experience conducting real estate closings is required. Familiarity with purchase, REO, short sales, and refinance transactions is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for accuracy, especially when handling critical real estate and mortgage lending documents.
- Strong Work Ethic: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent Communication: Clear, tactful, and professional in high-pressure customer service situations.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with industry-standard closing and settlement platforms.
- Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and organized.
