beem™ Light Sauna, an infrared sauna and red light therapy studio franchise, is opening soon in Lee's Summit, MO, and we are seeking enthusiastic Wellness Sales Associates!
Job Title: Wellness Sales Associate / Sauna Attendant - Part Time
Type of Position: Part-Time
Compensation: $14/hr plus commission (performance raise possible within 60 days of hire)
Scheduling: Evening and Weekend availability a must; Some Mornings (start at 7:15 am) possible
The Wellness Sales Associate (WSA) position is responsible for the for the customer experience from the beginning to the end. This job will include membership sales, customer service, and cleanliness of a clean studio environment. This person must be reliable, possesses a positive attitude, have a solid work ethic, and always follow the bee® Light Sauna core values while at work. This person must not be afraid to make sales phone calls and should have some retail sales background.
The Sauna Attendant (SA) position is responsible for refreshing private sauna suites between guests. This includes studio cleaning, folding towels for guests and helping to ensure the effortless flow of the studio to maximize the guest experience. This person is reliable, exhibits a strong moral fiber, possesses a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
Primary Responsibilities:
- The WSA is an ambassador for bee® Light Sauna. This person seeks to grow the brand through membership sales in the studio and throughout the community.
- You will understand and speak to the science, technology, and benefits of infrared sauna and light therapy. You will also understand bee® Light Sauna’s Core Values and the benefits of having a membership.
- You will have extensive knowledge of our products and services, sharing retail sales items and promotional opportunities with clients.
- You will be responsible for greeting customer members and ensuring their experience is positive, from the time they walk in the front door until they leave.
- You will ensure that all front desk systems are followed, such as proper member check-in, telephone inquiries (general and sales related), guest registration, customer care calls, change requests, new membership agreements, etc.
- You should have a genuine desire to help people, to ensure members’ experiences are above and beyond, encouraging members to refer others and be brand loyal.
- You will contribute to a high-energy, fun, and engaged membership culture at the studio through promotions, events and brand recognition.
- When necessary, you may be schedule or assist as theSauna Attendant , ensuring that the front end of the facility, suites, and rooms are clean, refreshed, maintained, operationally sound and ready for our guests.
- You may learn how to host events and do community outreach programs.
- To be successful in this role, our team will teach you to model our mission, vision and values leading by example.
- You will provide support to the Owner and Managers when needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- You may be called upon to Host a Studio event or possibly a community outreach.

- You will encourage compliance and adherence to the beem™ Business Operations Policies for daily site operations, according to the Studio Employee Handbook.
- When necessary, you may act as or assist the Sauna Attendant ensuring that the front end of the facility, suites, and rooms are clean, refreshed, maintained, operationally sound and ready for our guests.
- You will attend all staff meetings to stay abreast of company news, share new or pertinent information, and offer suggestions or ideas for promotions, management, and organization of the studio.
- Other projects and responsibilities as set forth by the Owner, GM or AM.
Qualifications
- Strong sense of customer service and communication skills
- Must have previous experience in retail sales and POS System (a plus)
- Proficiency in basic math and retail math
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams
- Familiarity with POS systems and merchandising
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in a the health and wellness fields are advantageous.
