Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tankers, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers, to transport freight efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate truck in a safe and efficient manner while transporting freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Manage the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and deliveries made.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving.
- Utilize manual transmission when required for specific vehicle types.
- Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Experience with various truck types including tankers, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
- No less than 2yrs class A tractor trailer experience and be ateast 24yrs old

No more than 3 minor moving violations in 3yrs
No major moving violations in 3yrs
CSA score must be below 60
