We are looking to add a performance-driven, highly motivated recruiting processor/coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and strongly desire to learn, grow, and develop as a recruiting professional while working in the fast-paced, multi-trillion-dollar transportation industry. The recruiting processor/coordinator’s primary function is to quickly and effectively onboard all new Beemac drivers. This position reports to the director of recruiting and will operate on an in-office (eventual hybrid) schedule.
This is a full-time in-office position Monday through Friday, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The salary is commensurate with experience. Possibility of eventual hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure that all required applicant documentation is completed throughout the recruiting process.
- Enter candidate information and update the application tracking system database.
- Run necessary background reports for prospective drivers: MVR, PSP, DAC employment history, and other relevant background investigations.
- Build and scan driver qualification files.
- Schedule equipment inspections, pre-employment drug screens, and DOT physicals
- Gather all required documentation for the driver onboarding process.
- Assist in obtaining apportioned truck plates.
- Facilitate owner-operator equipment upgrades, switches, and new driver additions, including all required paperwork.
- Submit and follow up on DOT-mandated employment verifications.
- Ensure driver qualification and personnel files are completed under compliance guidelines.
- Prepare and send correspondence as required.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of clerical, administrative, or employee processing experience, including data entry, filing, and receptionist duties.
- Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, listening, responding, following up)
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be comfortable making outbound calls and possess a high sense of urgency.
