The Utility Worker is a versatile and essential team member responsible for various operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities and services. This role demands a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, as Utility Workers may be called upon to support multiple functions, including maintenance, cleaning, vehicle management, and customer service roles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Daily Cleaning : Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
- Vehicle Inspections : Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any issues to the Maintenance Technicians. Participate in Beep's change management and incident management procedures for preparation of planned and unplanned maintenance. Ensure consistent implementation of inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Vehicle Charging and Staging : Charge vehicles as needed and ensure they are properly staged for use.
- General Basic Maintenance Tasks : Assist with minor maintenance tasks and basic repairs that do not require specialized skills.
- Support for Maintenance Technicians : Provide assistance to Maintenance Technicians as needed, including handling tools, fetching parts, and other supportive tasks.
- Shuttle Attendant and Command Center Agent Roles : Receive training to perform Shuttle Attendant and Command Center Agent duties and act as a backup during staff callouts or staffing shortages.
