Beer Capitol Distributing LLC, Wisconsin's largest beer distributor serving Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington and Milwaukee counties. Beer Capitol is now hiring for 2nd Shift Warehouse Picker. The 2nd Shift Warehouse Picker position is responsible for using the voice pick system to build pallets by picking cases of product quickly, accurately and safely.
Compensation
$21.50 plus incentives.
Schedule
Our 2nd shift warehouse employees work 4 days a week, Tuesday - Friday, and start at 2:00pm. They average 40-50 hours per week with time and a half for hours worked over 40.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locating and picking beer products for orders
- Building correct pallet orders with picked beer products
- Use voice picking program to ensure speed and accuracy when picking beer products
- Drive riding pallet jacks and forklifts consistently throughout shift
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks is preferred but not required
- 2nd shift experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis and up to 175 pounds on an occasional basis
- Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
