Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry, particularly in quick service fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of customer service, and assisting in staff training and development.

Duties

• Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Help maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Train and develop staff on best practices, including customer service techniques and operational procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with budgeting to optimize costs.
• Utilize POS system for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support staff scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a quick service fast food restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
• Strong skills in training development and staff management.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and inventory management.
• Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Passion for coffee is a plus!
