Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and keeping accurate tabs for customers.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about drink selections, and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in catering events as required, showcasing versatility in hospitality services.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with an understanding of retail math and basic math principles.
- Excellent time management abilities to efficiently serve multiple customers during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Exceptional hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during shifts.
