What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmers Market and Events Sales Associate position at Bees in the 'Burbs?
We are hiring for our summer season! We are looking for full time help going into our busy summer season where we attend several farmers markets and events every day. This position can transition into a career opportunity with our family business. Beyond the farmers markets, there are work opportunities at our physical store location where you'll be apart of the process of the honey production to selling operation, as well as working with honeybee hives. We work events all year round, so after the farmers market season is over, we will still have events in the fall, winter and spring.
We are looking for someone that is:
- Comfortable working in a face-paced environment when at events.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Physically capable when working at the store location.
- Has the passion to learn, or has the experience in the honey and beekeeping industry.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Drivers License - you will need to drive larger vehicles to and from events.
Experience isn't required, but wages can be negotiated based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Working in a fast-paced retail environments while being able to manage multiple customers.
- Operating point of sale system - Square
- Ability to work with a team.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to company policies while interacting with clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
