Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Lymphedema Therapist RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients, focusing on their individual needs and promoting overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to work with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. The Certified Lymphedema Therapist RN will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing effective interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions in areas such as pain management, senior care, and community-based support.
- Utilize aseptic techniques when necessary to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in ophthalmology and other specialties to provide holistic care.
- Offer support and guidance to clients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in both home and community settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay informed about advancements in anatomy knowledge relevant to lymphedema therapeutic practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a lymphedema therapeutic role.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation methods for lymphedema.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and best practices in therapeutic settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy Certification and current registered nurse licensure as required by the state or governing body for practice.
- Will consider strong nursing intern candidate.
