Job Brief:
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to work with us on a variety of exciting projects. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise. If you’re a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, then we want you on our team!
Industrial/Control Electrician Duties:
- Evaluate and assess electrical and mechanical requirements, conducting equipment surveys and schematics for accuracy
- Implement, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Maintain documentation, including blueprints, schematics, sketches, drawings, calculations
- Model and analyze electrical systems
- Adhere to all electrical regulations and codes
- Follow standards and write work specifications for opposite shift resources
- Evaluate materials and equipment
- Redline/Edit electrical diagrams and drawings
- Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems
- Oversee and perform preventive maintenance
- Knowledge share with employees
- Write technical narratives and catalog equipment issues
- Create detailed reports
Industrial/Control Electrician Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical, instrumentation, and control wiring and installations
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power distribution systems and controls
- Perform electrical work ranging from simple to complex
- Work with mechanical and electrical engineers on project management
- Complete all required paperwork, including permits, inspections, and inspection reports
- Evaluate project plans and specifications and recommend adjustments where needed
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements And Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various industrial electrical principles, such as industrial electrical wiring, industrial control wiring, and factory automation equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Strong understanding of NEC
- Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines for electrical safety in industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of PLCs (PCS7, TIA Portal, S7) and other types of control and DCS systems

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
