Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee drinks, tea, and snacks
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
Skills:
- Cashiering experience is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating orders
- Knowledge of the food industry and food service practices
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
