After School Program Assistant Teacher - 2024/2025
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Teacher, After School Program Assistant Teachers will assist with the supervision and activities of the program participants.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
- Set up activities for the children as instructed by teachers.
- Monitor and interact with children in group
- Assist and setting up snack
- Wash tables and keep space tidy
- Help children participate in group activities
- If required, clean up after activities.
- During activities assist the activity teacher with getting the children organized, supervise children, and make sure all children are accounted for.
- Supervision of bathroom runs
- Participate and be involved in each activity.
- While outside, check the playground for equipment left behind before going inside.
- Assist children with homework during homework time
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a minimum of 16 years old

This position is paid hourly (non-exempt)
