What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sustaining Engineering Expert position at BEGA NORTH AMERICA INC?
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D assembly drawings of modified and improved designs
- Develop 2D drawings of new component parts and collaborate with purchasing to source and define those components
- Enter new part numbers, Bill of Materials, and issue Engineering change orders
- Ensure project completion from initial concept through final production
- Provide production support for all lighting products
- Work closely with internal and external resources to define design specifications, complete project details, and obtain necessary components
- Collaborate with compliance personnel to achieve UL/CSA certification of product designs
