Configuration Analyst/ SQL Database Developer

This role can be based at any one of our office locations -Evanston, IL, Emeryville, CA, Boston, MA, New York, NY, Rockville, MD, Durham, NC.
Many of our projects involve building SQL Server back-end databases to support various reporting and data collection tools. We are looking for someone to create and maintain these databases, as well as configure the front-end reporting and data collection tools.
We’ll trust you to:
- Work with project teams to understand application requirements, and how those requirements will be translated to underlying SQL Server objects.
- Design, write, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server data models, stored procedures, table-value functions, and triggers in the databases backing Beghou’s software applications.
- Configure software applications by linking to database objects and adding custom JavaScript/CSS to customize application behavior.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer engineering or equivalent professional experience
- 2-5 years of in-depth experience with SQL databases, preferably including Microsoft Azure SQL Database
- Advanced skills in developing SQL Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Table-Valued Functions, Scalar Functions, Triggers, Joins, and Indexes.
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Nice to have: any experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS
