What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soccer Clinic Instructor (Temporary/Seasonal) position at Beginners Edge Sports Training, LLC?
Beginner's Edge Sports Training is searching for Soccer Clinic Instructors for our Winter Break Sports Camps in Gilbert, Arizona. BEST will host 2-hour Soccer training clinics where beginner to intermediate level kids can come to learn the game and have fun! If you are an athlete, educator, just enjoy working with children this is a perfect fit for you. There is also a possibility for this position to convert to a permanent part-time position.
Dates:
- March 10-14
- March 17-21
Work Times:
8:45 am to 4:15 pm
Age Groups (you will see all of these groups):
- 4-6 years
- 7-10 years
- 10-13 years
Ideal Candidates:
- Experience coaching or training in the sport of Soccer
- Love working with children as much as they love sports!
- BIG personalities
- Works well in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Loud and energetic
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- Looking for a part-time or seasonal position
Requirements:
- Be able to commit to all the dates listed above
- Be able to work full shifts from 8:30 to 4:30 pm
- Comfortable managing and working with groups of up to 20 kids
- Be able to stand and walk for at least 2-hour increments
- Be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement organized skill based activities and games for beginner to intermediate level players.
- Oversee players activities and behavior
- Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and organized manner
- Maintain active supervision of groups up to 20 children
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary play area and facility
