We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with behavior needs in their homes. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to enhance the quality of life for our clients and their families.
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client behavior and progress during sessions.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Provide direct support to children in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding client progress and strategies for reinforcement at home.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing assessment of treatment effectiveness.
- Stay informed about current research in applied behavior analysis and special education practices.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and special education principles is highly desirable.
- Experience in data collection related to behavior interventions is a plus.
- Strong client care skills, communication skills, along with the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
- Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person!

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check
- High school diploma, Degree Preferred
- Reliable transportation and driver's license
- Ability to complete RBT training and pass exam (if not already an RBT)
