We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA ) to join our team.
We are currently seeking a BCBA/ LBA with a strong background in providing behavior intervention for maladaptive behaviors within the school setting.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in completing functional behavior assessment and writing behavior intervention plans for use within the school setting. We are seeking a candidate comfortable working in the school setting with an impressive history of success in working with and providing interventions within a public school setting. The right candidate should have strong knowledge surrounding FBA and BIP development but also be a competent Behavior Analytic supervisor. This position will involve supervising district services as well as providing supervision in accordance with New York State licensing laws and meeting the current task list and ethical standards as published by the BACB.
As a BCBA/LBA Supervisor, you will be guide BCBA and LBA students in the develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the direction and guidance of your BCBA/LBA supervisor.
This position will provide the maximum hours needed by supervision students weekly, all of their restricted and unrestricted hours, as well as providing them with concentrated experience (1500 rather than 2000).
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced behavior consultant with proven efficacy in addressing challenging behaviorsnwithin a school setting. Candidates must also be well versed in knowledge of individuated education plans, CSE meetings, annual review meetings.
Responsibilities
- Over see and assist in the development of comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Guide and oversee the collection and analysis of data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide training and support to supervises, guide the support development of strategies to support school staff, and family members on ABA techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards under the direction and guidance.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and contribute to ongoing program development .
- Engage in regular communication with supervision students, clients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Communicate with agency staff and district program director.
- Maintain accurate records pertaining to supervision and district services.
- Provide supervision according to current BACB and NY state licensing regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience working with school aged children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for behavior tracking.
- Expertise in behavioral strategy, ethics, task list items and terminology.
- Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively, ensuring comprehensive evaluations are conducted.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families.
- Expert consultation skills.
- Solid knowledge surrounding individualised education plans (IEP's) and delivery of school services.
