As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and adolescents, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use positive reinforcement, skill-building activities, and data-driven techniques to help clients achieve their developmental goals.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and adolescents, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use positive reinforcement, skill-building activities, and data-driven techniques to help clients achieve their developmental goals.
- Provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements
- Teach communication, social, and self-care skills to children ages 2-18 years
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
- Implement behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
- Work Location: Client Home (Inland Empire), Treatment Center (Ontario, CA), and May be required to drive up to 30 miles
- Passion for working with children and making a difference
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow structured treatment plans while also thinking on your feet
- Reliable transportation to client sessions
- Previous experience in ABA, childcare, education, or healthcare is a plus but not required—we provide comprehensive paid training!
- Minimum Availability Requirement: We require all employees to be available to work a minimum of (10) hours per week within at least one* of our designated time slots. The designated time slots are as follows:
- 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
- 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- *The full 10-hour requirement must fall into a one-time slot, however, a staff member can have more than a one-time slot available
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
