Position Summary:
The Custodial and Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure the facility is well-maintained, safe, and presentable at all times. This role requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is able to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, and therapy rooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces regularly
- Empty trash receptacles and restock supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of exterior grounds (sidewalks, entryways, etc.)
- Complete minor maintenance and repair tasks (lightbulb changes, small patch/paint jobs, furniture assembly, etc.)
- Monitor and report any facility issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
- Maintain a custodial/maintenance log and follow up on requested tasks in a timely manner
- Ensure equipment and cleaning supplies are used and stored properly
- Follow health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous custodial or general maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
