BSI has provided quality behavioral services to individuals in Northwest Indiana and the surrounding areas for 25 years. BSI provides behavior, music, school, and individual therapy services. Our team includes a clinical psychologist, behavior specialists, behavior therapists, and music therapists. We are always looking to add quality members to our team!
BSI is seeking a Behavior Specialist to provide behavior support services through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Home and Community based waivers to individuals across the lifespan with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The Behavior Specialist's schedule is flexible and varies depending on their caseload. This may include some evening hours as needed to meet client needs. Travel within the area to our office, home, community and day program sites is required. Extensive on the job training and ongoing support is provided. BSI employees are provided with their own office, access to support staff, and a variety of equipment/materials. Behavior Specialists are supervised by experienced professionals in a collaborative team environment. Qualifications
Applicants must have a master’s degree in one of the following areas:
- Clinical Psychology
- School Psychology
- Counseling
- Social Work
- Special Education
- Behavior Analysis
- Other applied health service areas

Position Responsibilities Include:
- Completing an initial/annual Functional Behavior Analysis for each client
- Developing and maintaining an Individualized Behavior Support Plan
- Creating a consistent schedule of face-to-face visits with each client in the home, community, day program sites, and/or office settings
- Providing team consultation to the Medicaid Waiver Individualized Support Team
