We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team in Lombard, Illinois. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBA to address the unique needs of each child.
- Provide one-on-one direct therapy sessions with clients in clinic, home, or community settings.
- Collect data on client behavior during therapy sessions and accurately document progress.
- Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior skill assessments.
- Collaborate effectively with BCBA, parents, caregivers, and other members of the therapy team.
- Participate in regular team meetings to review client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards of conduct.
- Continuously engage in professional development to expand knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program and certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
