Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities...
- Possess solid knowledge of the principles and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Understanding of the cognitive, educational, social, and vocational challenges experienced by the clients we serve
- Ability to use behavior-analytic principles with our clients to increase socialization, play, and language skills while minimizing or eliminating challenging behaviors
- Able to design and direct the implementation of treatment goals, individualized to each client and family’s needs
- Can conduct initial functional assessment, behavior plan development, and caregiver training
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a related field is required
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required
- Behavior Specialist License (LBS) is required
- 1-2 years of clinical experience working as a BCBA for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders is preferred
