Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join the Behavior Vibes team. In this role, you will work closely in-home and in the community with a child and their family to implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality care and support to the individual with behavioral health needs, utilizing techniques from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This position requires a commitment to fostering positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for the client.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on client goals and behaviors.
- Assist in the education of clients families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide support in various settings, including home, social group, and community environments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience in special education or behavioral therapy is preferred.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral health challenges, is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively write daily notes about your sessions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, including speech services and schools.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
