What are the responsibilities and job description for the School ABA Therapist position at Behavioral Autism Therapies - San Bernardino County?
Behavioral Autism Therapies, LLC (B.A.T.) provides support to families of individuals with Autism and special needs, through the implementation of effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies. We provide customized behavioral programs for their individual challenges, enabling them to enhance their quality of life. Our agency focuses on teamwork and specializes in classroom settings and in-home to improve overall quality of life. The therapist will work in a classroom setting to provide one-on-one support for students with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students in a classroom setting as outlined in their Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) by BCBA.
- Attend quarterly staff meetings and professional development meetings -Report any incidents and communication from parents to the Clinical Supervisor
- Attend to other duties assigned and/or approved by the Clinical Supervisor and Program Director
- Promote and advocate for consumer's rights.
- Maintain reliable transportation and current liability insurance for the vehicle.
- Stand, sit twist, kneel, bend-over, crouch down, walk, & sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time as well as lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance from another adult.
