Job Opportunity
We have immediate openings for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with expertise in geriatric psychiatry. The ideal candidate will work part-time, approximately 12-15 patients per day, providing comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric services to geriatric patients at rehabilitation facilities, assisted living, and nursing homes.
- Prescribe or adjust psychotropic medications as needed.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
- Knowledge of Medicare standards and documentation is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience providing mental health services to geriatric populations.
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines, standards of care, and documentation.
