Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with expertise in geriatric psychiatry to join our team. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible hours and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to geriatric patients at rehabilitation facilities, assisted living, and nursing homes.
- Prescribe or adjust psychotropic medications as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain knowledge of Medicare standards and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited University.
- Valid, full license and DEA# in the State.
- Demonstrated skills in communication and knowledge of mental health care delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of experience providing mental health services to the geriatric population.
- Experience with Medicare guidelines, standards of care, and documentation.
