Behavioral Connections of Colorado is seeking full-time and part-time Student Analysts to join our team and unleash their ABA superpowers!
Job Summary:
The Student Analyst serves as a growth position between client support and supervisor. The Student Analyst reports directly to the Clinical Director and is supervised under the BCBA Team as they work in collaboration with RBT’s and children and their families to help deliver the most effective treatment available. Under the guidance of BCBA’s, this position helps create programs, treatment plans, and behavior targets. This position is created for students on their way to achieving a master's level BCBA program.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate center and home sessions based on the child's individual needs and treatment plan
- Assist BCBAs supervision of center and home-based sessions
- Collect various forms of behavioral data and provide proper graphical representation
- Train staff on techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and child-specific training based on family needs as well as other technical or professional skills
- Maintain ongoing communication with the child's family, school, and other providers (internal and external professionals)
- Conduct various Behavior Analytic assessments and intake procedures under the direction of the Clinical Director and BCBA Team
- Develop, revise, and share updates of treatment and behavior intervention plans with the approval of the Clinical Director and BCBA Team
- Provide direct instruction to children’s families, including parent training on treatment plans under the supervision of the BCBA
- Fill in for direct care staff in center and home-based sessions when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Enrolled or on the way to enrolling in a BACB approved master's level BCBA program
- Available to work at least 10 hours per week at least three (3) days per week during after school hours (4pm-7pm) OR during clinical hours (8am-4pm)
- Clean background check
- Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- BLS/CPR certified (preferred)
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by Code of Ethics for Board Certified Behavior Analysts
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws
- Adhere to practices and protocols that support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Holds a Registered Behavior Technician Certification
- Be at least 18 years old and have a High School diploma or equivalent (a 2 or 4 year degree in a related field is preferred (e.g., special education, psychology)
