Position Summary:
The ABA Clinic Director is responsible for overseeing the production and efficiency of the ABA clinic. This role includes monitoring staff productivity and quality of service, mentoring and supervising BCBAs, developing training programs, identifying and correcting departmental inefficiencies, and establishing procedural solutions. The Director exemplifies exceptional programming and care.
Job Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Supervision:
- Develop and maintain BES policies and procedures.
- Implement and adjust ABA department practices.
- Lead monthly BCBA meetings.
- Collaborate on growth plans with the CEO and Operations.
- Ensure appropriate RBT and BCBA assignments.
- Provide clinical support and order necessary supplies.
- Attend weekly leadership meetings.
Performance Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Evaluate staff performance and make decisions on promotions, corrective actions, or discharges.
- Review monthly Provider Performance Reports.
- Develop improvement plans for underperforming providers.
- Ensure timely evaluations for new hires and annual reviews.
- Work with HR to ensure prompt service provision by new hires.
- Conduct family training quality assurance and audits.
Professional Development & Clinical Training:
- Assess training needs and create relevant programs.
- Supervise and mentor BCBAs.
- Oversee new hire training and develop training materials.
- Conduct departmental trainings.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and implement quality assurance procedures.
- Review client records and documentation.
Design and Implement Clinical Programs:
- Review assessment, progress, and discharge reports.
- Monitor clinic curriculum and special programs.
- Oversee hiring of clinical staff.
- Manage insurance mandates and restrictions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Master’s degree and BCBA certification required; LBA in Maryland.
- 5 years of experience with children with disabilities, specifically Autism.
- 2 years of management experience preferred.
