What are the responsibilities and job description for the Job Coach position at Behavioral Health Associates?
Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.
We currently have an opening for a part-time Job Coach.
POSITION GOAL
As a Job Coach you will provide constant supervision and motivate students to develop their full work potential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Transport students to and from scheduled work sites (company provided vehicle).
- Supervise students at the job site following BHA Career Employment Program Training Guidelines.
- Follow all safety driving laws as per Job Coach Training Guidelines.
- Complete daily student evaluation form.
- Attend required yearly trainings.
- Communicate any questions, concerns about students and businesses to Program Director.
- Will perform other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Experience working with children/students, preferred
- Utilizes effective written and oral expression
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must provide successful and continued renewal of required clearances
