The Program Director is responsible for leading the business development efforts to expand contractual potential existing and potential client facilities regarding BHC service line deliverables, while providing oversight and managing daily operations of Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. (“BHC”), a psychiatric assessment and consultation service provider.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree, prefer Masters Degree with LPC, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW
- Experience as a Program Director in a behavioral health clinical setting required.
- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead location business development to expand existing and potential client facilities while in conjunction with Clinical Director, manage the overall day-to-day operations of Behavioral Health Connections.
2. Assist the Executive Director with oversight of monthly expenses to ensure the operation is on target.
3. In conjunction with the Clinical Director, coordinates the hiring, staffing, performance, employee relation issues and daily workflow management of staff.
4. Plan, Schedule and complete a designated number of qualified client hospital weekly contracts regarding BHC service line deliveries to ensure client satisfaction and discuss additional BHC service line deliveries.
6. Develop and procure contacts for referral management, mobile/teleassessments, telepsychiatry and additional service line deliveries to ensure client satisfaction and discuss additional BHC service line deliveries.
7. Work actively with the UHS Business Development teams to identify potential client opportunities for contracting of BHC services.
8. Responsible for timely compilation of metrics for all reports including but not limited to daily, Xferall, monthly governing board and client reports.
9 Ensures proper and accurate data entry into referral system; assists with the compilation of customer service metrics for monthly client reports.
10. Responsible for execution of contractual terms with contracted facilities.
11. Maintains staff by recruiting, interviewing, selecting, hiring orienting, training, scheduling, and generally supervising the employees. In addition, as necessary, responsible for disciplining employees, up to and including termination of employment.
12. Responsible for oversight of information technology systems and physical space operations.
13. Responsible for contract management and program quality.
14. Responsible for mandatory annual corporate compliance training.
15. Collaborates with Executive Director and Business Development Liaison in marketing efforts for BHC Programs and development of new businesses.
16. Adheres to all BHC policies and procedures.
17. Adheres to all service excellence standards.
18. Performs other duties, as assigned.
