Responsibilities
- Conduct admission physicals and medical assessments
- Review laboratory results and medical documentation
- Prescribe and adjust medication dosages
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and clinics
- Provide medical training and supervision
- Ensure program compliance with accreditation standards
- Collaborate with the treatment team on patient care
- Valid State medical license with DEA certificate
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in computer use and office equipment
- Knowledge of addiction treatment and medication-assisted therapy
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Adequate vision and hearing
- Capacity to sit or stand for extended periods
