Job Summary
Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic IT Asset Manager to oversee the full lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets across our nationwide treatment centers and corporate locations. This role is critical in ensuring that IT resources are efficiently deployed, repurposed, and maintained in a remote and distributed environment. The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for tracking, optimizing, and ensuring compliance of all IT assets, working closely with IT, procurement, operations, and finance teams to support our mission of providing high-quality care.

The key responsibilities of the IT Asset Manager include but not limited to :
Duties and Responsibilities
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (desktops, laptops, tablets, network equipment, peripherals, and software) across 110 treatment centers and corporate offices.
- Oversee the full asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, repurposing, and decommissioning.
- Ensure efficient reuse of IT assets by implementing standardized procedures for remotely repurposing and redeploying equipment to centers with the highest need.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to facilitate equipment sourcing, repairs, warranties, and end-of-life disposal.
Inventory Control & Asset Tracking
Implement and maintain an IT asset management (ITAM) system to monitor the location, status, and ownership of assets, ensuring accurate and real-time data.Coordinate with local staff at treatment centers to ensure compliance with asset tracking policies and proper equipment handling.Work with IT support teams to verify asset recovery from departing employees and facilitate redeployment as needed.Compliance & Licensing Management
Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and regulatory requirements, avoiding unnecessary expenses and legal risks.Conduct periodic audits to validate software installations and prevent over-licensing or unauthorized usage.Support compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare IT security standards, ensuring all assets meet security and data protection policies.Procurement & Budget Optimization
Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to develop cost-effective purchasing strategies that align with business and IT needs.Analyze asset usage trends and identify opportunities for cost savings, including contract renegotiations, asset repurposing, and decommissioning of underutilized resources.Work with vendors to establish pricing agreements, negotiate warranties, and manage equipment refresh cycles.Process Improvement & Standardization
Develop clear IT asset management policies and best practices to streamline asset tracking and reporting across all locations.Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for asset deployment, retrieval, and remote repurposing.Train IT support staff and center managers on asset management best practices to enhance efficiency and accountability.Reporting & Audit Readiness
Generate reports and dashboards to provide leadership with real-time insights into IT asset utilization, budgeting, and compliance status.Lead annual asset audits, ensuring accuracy in financial records and compliance with internal controls.Work with IT security and operations teams to enforce proper asset disposal methods, including data wiping and responsible e-waste recycling.Collaboration & Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for IT asset-related inquiries, supporting end-users and facility staff with asset management needs.Coordinate with help desk and IT support teams to resolve asset-related issues, including hardware failures and software licensing requests.Provide recommendations for scaling IT infrastructure to meet the growing needs of BHG's treatment centers and administrative offices.Regulatory

The IT Asset Manager must comply with federal and state regulations regarding certification, licensure, and degree.Qualifications
The IT Asset Manager must have the following requirements :
3 years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or IT operations, preferably in a multi-site, distributed environment.Strong knowledge of IT asset management (ITAM) tools, asset tracking systems, and software licensing management.Experience working with remote asset management processes, repurposing and shipping IT equipment to multiple locations.Understanding compliance requirements related to healthcare IT, including HIPAA and data security best practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Familiarity with cloud asset management and SaaS licensing models.Preferred :
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience with Microsoft 365, IT asset tracking and service management platforms.Managed Engine experience.In addition to meeting the qualifications, the ideal candidate will embody the following characteristics and possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below :
