Job Summary
BHG is expanding its commitment to growth and innovation with the creation of a new leadership role : Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. The pivotal, senior level position will explore options to launch new programs and initiatives, to include building internal infrastructure and / or acquiring external capabilities. Working closely with executive leadership, the VP will advance a compelling new program portfolio that will drive admissions, enable expanded care capabilities, foster retention, deliver growth, and achieve strategic business objectives. These initiatives may include expanding Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, implementing Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs), scaling Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) programs, and launching mental health outpatient services, among others.
Summary of Essential Job Functions :
- Provide leadership and oversight for the implementation and execution of program expansion across the BHG network.
- To prioritize initiatives and new programs, leverage analytics and a data-driven approach that captures the anticipated results and facilitates a budget for any new program.
- In partnership with the Chief Development Officer, identify companies that possess successful programs that complement BHG's current offerings and play an integral role in the acquisition process, from diligence to integration.
- Embrace executive management's new program vision and partner with Operations and cross-functional teams throughout the new program lifecycle to ensure successful implementation / integration.
- Manage the entire full lifecycle of new program development / integration, from ideation to successful launch / integration.
- Translate program requirements into actionable development plans, incorporate operational design, ensure new programs are well-defined, scoped appropriately and scalable, lead the necessary built out of infrastructure, deliver on time, manage the P & L until the program is in "steady state."
- Manage all aspects of new programs including business objective definition, scope, clinical and operational workflow management, implementation, and results.
- Develop a deep understanding of patient needs, market trends, and business goals to shape new program strategy.
- Collaborate with the appropriate functional leaders to identify the People, the Processes and the Technology requirements to support new programs.
- Evaluate and implement new program expansion opportunities across the network, identifying states based on the regulatory environment, reimbursement, etc.
