The Dorchester Family Center provides long-term residential family substance use treatment for women and their children of all ages, from newborns to teens. The diverse experienced team at the Dorchester Family Center provides a variety of services including individual and group counseling, therapy and psycho-educational groups, individualized treatments plans, and medical and mental health referrals, among others. Our goal is to provide a safe and sober living environment to allow successful family reunification and long-term family stabilization.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Dorchester Family Center program with the following:
- Encouraging independence, competency, decision-making, and empowerment of both employees they supervise and of individuals served.
- Overseeing clinical programming and providing milieu management.
- Overseeing service coordination for individuals served.
- Overseeing the schedule of psycho-educational groups, when needed.
- Providing direct and clinical supervision to counselor-case manager staff, including ongoing evaluations of program & staff performance and instituting appropriate discipline as needed.
- Facilitating clinical staff meetings and weekly treatment team meetings.
- Overseeing caseloads distribution and maintaining individual caseload & productivity.
- Monitoring the completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and group notes.
- Performing assessments and chart reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with DPH standards.
- Monitoring clinician productivity, tracking, and monitoring billable hours on a regular basis to maximize revenue and ensure clinician compliance with billing and authorization requests policies/procedures.
- Ensuring adherence to & regular communication with the regulations and requirements of licensing and funding sources.
- Collaborating with the Program Director to ensure quality of services and identify staffing needs, working towards hiring program staff.
- Serving as a liaison with other BHN programs regarding treatment of individuals served.

- Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation, or human services related field (required).
- Licensed or license eligible (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LADC I) (preferred).
- At least three years of experience in substance use treatment environment (required).
- At least one year of experience providing clinical supervision to interdisciplinary team (required).
- Experience working with substance use and dual diagnoses (required).
- Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations (required).
- At least two years of sobriety, if applicable (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team setting (required).
- Be willing to take on call shifts as needed by the program
