GENERAL SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor provides high quality community-based care, encouraging the
independence, competency, decision-making, and empowerment of individuals. The Clinical
Supervisor monitors individuals’ overall health and well-being in their daily living activities and
assists with all aspects of medication treatment and administration. The Clinical Supervisor
provides clinical support and oversight to OTP Clinicians and assists in ensuring that clinical
program requirements are met in accordance with state and federal licensing entities
? Oversees clinical programming and provides milieu management.
? Provides direct and clinical supervision to program staff.
? Assigns Counselor caseloads and provides oversight of said caseloads.
? Provides oversight of group schedule and psycho-educational groups, when necessary.
? Attends and facilitates clinical staff meetings and weekly treatment team meetings.
? Performs assessments and chart reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with DPH
standards.
? Provides oversight and monitors service(s) coordination for individuals served.
? Assists Program Director with employee evaluations.
? Maintains individual caseload and oversees caseload management for other staff.
? Maintains direct service productivity as established by the Program.
? Monitors the formulation and completion of treatment plans, progress notes, and group notes.
? Maintains clinical licensure and continuing education requirements.
? Responsible for monitoring clinician staff productivity, tracking and monitoring billable
hours of clinical staff on a weekly/monthly basis.
? Responsible for maximizing revenue and ensuring clinician compliance with policies and
procedures pertaining to billing and authorization requests.
? Must have Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, or other related clinical field.
? Must have Independent Licensure: (LMHC, LICSW),
? Must be committed to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community
integration for individuals served.
? Must have a working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations.
? Must have experience working with substance abuse and dual diagnoses.
? Must have minimum of three years of experience in substance abuse treatment
environment with a minimum of one year supervisory experience providing clinical
supervision to interdisciplinary team.
