Position Summary:
The Data Entry & Quality Specialist (part-time/hybrid) will support the entry, management, and quality assurance of data in two relational databases. This role will also involve providing constructive feedback to partner agencies on common data errors, aligning with BHN’s commitment to high-quality data that informs systems change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and manage data in two relational database systems.
- Conduct thorough data quality checks to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Develop and deliver constructive feedback to partner agency staff on common data collection errors to ensure quality improvements.
- Collaborate with BHN staff and partners to address data-related issues effectively.
- Generate and manage reports to monitor data accuracy and trends.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with data security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., data management, public health, or related discipline).
- Experience with relational databases and data entry processes.
- Familiarity with data quality assurance practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Excellent communication skills to provide feedback to partner agencies effectively.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote/hybrid setting.
- Analytical mindset to identify trends and recommend solutions for data quality improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a nonprofit or public health setting.
- Familiarity with behavioral health systems and the LINCS programs’ goals.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and data confidentiality protocols.
