Counselors help provide services and comfort for the adult mental health population in Western Massachusetts as they work to meet program goals.
- Use your interviewing, observation, and documentation skills to plan and implement treatment services.
- Gain exposure to opportunities that promote learning and growth within your position.
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with the individuals served, their family members, and service providers.
- Counselors complete mental status exams and develop their ability to work as a team.
- Supervision and training is provided as a regular part of the Counselors' position.
The Respite Unit is a safe, supervised environment. Individuals served are provided a range of services including need assessments, groups, and one-on-one counseling.
