Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Family Therapist in the BHN Family Centerprogram at Behavioral Health Network!
Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the BHN Family Center program with the following :
- Providing clinical therapeutic, educational, and support services to individuals and their families.
- Completing intakes, comprehensive assessments, screening, orientation, and assessment functions for individuals.
- Developing individual treatment plans and aftercare plans based on individuals' needs.
- Maintaining positive working relationships among social services agencies, advocacy groups, outpatient therapists, the court system, other program staff, and families to coordinate services for client care.
- Working with the childcare team to implement child service plans and monitoring progress (i.e., school enrollments, camp, therapy services, etc.).
- Overseeing the accuracy of the Children's List, as residents enter, exit, and reunify.
- Attending & sharing updates at Plan of Safe Care meetings for all infants to ensure continuity of care.
- Overseeing the planning & communication of daily and school vacation activities.
- Communicating updates and referral information between the Child Care team and collaterals (schools, childcare, summer camps, Horizons for the Homeless, etc.).
- Meeting regularly for individual & family sessions with identified clinical & family support, including aiding mothers in behavior management coaching.
- Updating progress to mothers about their & their children's physical, mental health, and / or substance abuse treatment needs & referring them, as needed.
- Planning monthly Family Engagement Events to update families on their loved ones' treatment & care and available resources (i.e., Al-Anon, Learn to Cope, etc.) regarding family systems, family development, group and individual treatment issues, and other areas of expertise.
- Maintaining complete, timely, confidential, and accurate treatment records & charts in the Electronic Health Record in compliance with BHN & state agency standards.
- Maintaining insurance authorization for individuals served.

The diverse experienced team at the BHN Family Center provides a variety of services including individual and group counseling, therapy and psycho-educational groups, individualized treatments plans, and medical and mental health referrals, among others. Our goal is to provide a safe and sober living environment to allow successful family reunification and long-term family stabilization.
