Your responsibilities will include responding to crises in real-time, being deployed through the 988 call center, and working in Crisis Stabilization. Responsibilities:
- Conduct crisis assessments and develop crisis stabilization plans for individuals in crisis
- Provide short-term crisis counseling and intervention to clients
- Coordinate with other professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
- Participate in team meetings and trainings to stay current on best practices and protocols
- Respond to crisis situations in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and staff
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human services (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology)
- Valid QMHP certification in the state of Virginia
