We achieve this by reducing challenging behaviors and fostering the development of essential skills. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team.
As an RBT at Behavioral Independence, you will play a vital role in implementing behavior analytic services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will work directly with clients, carrying out individualized treatment plans designed to improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior analytic programs as designed by the BCBA.
- Collect data on client progress using our user-friendly electronic data collection system (compatible with tablets and cellphones).
- Work collaboratively with the BCBA and other team members.
- Provide direct instruction to clients in various settings.
- Implement behavior reduction strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Participate in regular training and supervision meetings.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using electronic data collection systems.
