Behavior Technician
The Behavior Technician provides one-on-one instruction to children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Implement the individualized treatment plan programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis;
- Collect and submit data;
- Complete and submit session notes and billing information;
- Assist in the implementation of assessments and behavior plans (as applicable);
- Attend all scheduled sessions, meetings, and trainings;
- Communicate clearly and professionally with families, caregivers, and colleagues;
- Maintain professional relationships and boundaries with families;
- Participate in keeping all work areas clean and clutter free
- Maintain confidentiality of all client records and information; and
- Other relevant duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or a related field, preferred
- At least six months of applied behavior analysis experience or enrolled in ABA coursework;
- Knowledge and experience working with autistic individuals preferred;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Vehicle and clean driving record; and
- Have successfully passed a BCI and/or CORI
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
