What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at BehaviorLink?

The role of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to provide ABA services to BehaviorLink’s clients. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, ADLs, play skills, language acquisition, and social skills. The RBT will also monitor the progress of a treatment plan and work closely with the BCBA to update the treatment plan as necessary. RBT position is a part time position, but with potential to increase to a full-time position if desired. An applicant with the RBT credential is required. We are hiring for 1-2 positions at our Dawsonville clinic, as well as 1-2 positions at our Cumming clinic.
We are looking to fill the 2-4 total positions. Each position would need to be available to work 20-35 hours per week.
Our clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, and Fridays 8:00-3:00.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a center based environment
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
- Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
- Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings
- Insure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
- Follows the policies and procedures of BehaviorLink
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
- Experience working with children with maladaptive behaviors
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have valid car insurance
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification or willing to obtain certification
