What You'll Do :
Tailor Education : Assess students’ abilities and adapt the curriculum to meet their individual learning needs.
Lesson Planning : Develop and implement lesson plans for students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Engagement & Intervention : Utilize innovative methods to teach skills, manage classroom dynamics, and intervene when needed.
Communication : Collaborate with parents, support staff, and other educators to discuss student progress and challenges.
Support Transition : Help students reach key milestones and prepare for their next educational phase.
What We're Looking For :
Experience : Proven background in special education or a related field.
Knowledge : Familiarity with the latest special education methodologies.
Credentials(MUSTS) : Valid Massachusetts special education certificate; BS in Special Education (MS preferred).
Skills : Exceptional patience, resilience, and interpersonal communication.
Location : MUST live in the greater Whitman, MA area or be able to commute there. This role is based in Whitman-Hanson and surrounding Massachusetts cities.
