West River Mental Health is accepting applications for Full time and Part time daytime and overnight Recovery Support Educator with our Full Circle program. This position works with individuals on developing daily living skills and building positive social skills in order to achieve the client's highest level of independence and recovery. Staff members have the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting and positively influence clients while providing a safe, confidential environment. Minimum pay for this position is $16.50 per hour. Overnight differential provided.

Requirements
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED and some experience preferred working in the substance abuse field. We will train in defensive driving, CPR, First Aid, and Medication Management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- General knowledge of substance use issues or willingness to develop an understanding.
- Knowledge of and skill in teaching basis life skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients and both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team to include demonstrating respect and collaboration.
- Ability to listen effectively, remain calm, and set boundaries.
- Ability to maintain a South Dakota driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions.
- Ability to respond to clients by phone and face to face in emergency situations.
