Elevate Interiors as a Field Service Technician and Installer servicing our clients in D.C. and surrounding townships!

We’re looking for a talented, detailed Field Service Technician and installer to join us in delivering exceptional custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery. A Day in the Life of our Field Service Technician :

Start your day at our Alexandria warehouse, prepping for installations.
Travel to homes and businesses across the D.C. metro area, including Germantown, Potomac, and Bethesda, providing top-tier service.
Conduct professional, in-home installation consultations with a focus on precision and customer satisfaction.
Problem-solve and troubleshoot any installation challenges efficiently.
Leave each space better than when you arrived, ensuring a seamless, clean finish.
Wrap up back at the warehouse, ready to tackle the next day.

Who We’re Looking For in a Field Service Technician :

Experience : Prior installation or carpentry experience preferred but not required.

Precision : Ability to measure within 1 / 8 inch using manual or laser tools.

Technical Skills : Familiarity with tools like drills, fasteners, and concrete anchors.

Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with motorized systems.

Customer Service : Friendly and professional demeanor, with a focus on delivering "white-glove" service.

Physical Capability : Comfortable lifting up to 55 pounds and working on ladders up to 26 feet.

Work Ethic : Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Your role as our Field Service Technician :

Measure, assemble, and install window treatments with precision.

Review orders for accuracy and catch potential errors before installations.

Handle repairs and troubleshoot issues, ensuring first-visit completion.

Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating product use and addressing questions.

Coordinate with sales, admin, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and inspect products before installation to avoid delays.
