Based in Bismarck, ND, Behind the Scenes Events LLC is committed to providing couples with a seamless, stress-free wedding day experience. We handle timeline management, run the rehearsal, manage family photos, coordinate the processional, first dances and more, so our clients can focus on enjoying their special day. Our goal is to offer peace of mind, ensuring that every detail is organized and executed to perfection.
Role Description
The Associate Wedding Coordinator position is a periodic role, based on inquiries and availabilty, and will likely include 2-5 weddings per year. Our main office is located in Bismarck, ND, however we occasionally have weddings in Fargo, Menoken, Dickinson and other surrounding areas. The Associate Wedding Coordinator will be trained in on our systems, what to ask each vendor, how to use our planning portal and more, in order to confidently manage her own weddings.
Qualifications
- Experience in Event Planning
- Strong Communications skills - You can’t be afraid to speak confidently in front of 20 people
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously “Don’t let em see you sweat!”
- Strong email skills
- Weekend availability throughout the year - the rehearsal is 1 hour the day before the wedding, and the wedding day is 12 hours
- Proficient in Google spreadsheets and Canva
- Loves to have FUN! This is a fast-paced job where you’ll be trusted on one of the most important days of someone’s life - you will likely have adrenaline through Monday after the wedding!
- Availability to shadow 3 weddings prior to taking your own
